In recent years, as people pay more attention to health, health care has also received much attention. But health care is not as simple as pressing the acupuncture points and taking some tonic, Chinese medicine has six words of health care: Shun, quiet, repair, adjust, supplement, solid, really understand and do these points, a long and healthy life is not far from you.
Shun
The ancients believed that the changes in the human body are consistent with the cycle of the four seasons, so diet, food, clothing and housing must be appropriate to the seasons. The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine says: “The wise man’s health must follow the four seasons and adapt to the cold and heat, and the happiness and anger and living in peace, and the yin and Yang and adjust the rigid and soft.” Specifically, it means nourishing Yang in spring and summer, and nourishing Yin in autumn and winter.
Quiet
Modern people like to live a lively life, every day is full of time, afraid of loneliness and isolation. In fact, this kind of impetuous life is extremely detrimental to health. The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine says: “Tranquility and emptiness, true energy from it, the spirit within the guard, the disease is safe from.” People quiet, can reduce a lot of unnecessary consumption, especially the consumption of “qi”, to achieve the body “energy saving”, so as to prevent disease, life extension.
We might as well slow down the pace of life, take meditation, eyes closed to nourish the body, slow to nourish the mind.
Cultivation
Normally virtuous and generous people, often reduce a lot of trouble, happy mood. Cultivate the body, treat people with generosity, indifferent to fame and fortune, good to others, their own harvest will also be healthy, happy and long life.
Tune
People will inevitably encounter nutritional imbalance, overwork, disease and other adverse factors, it is time to use the word “adjust”. The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine says that one should regulate the spirit and will according to the changes of the four seasons, and regulate the seven emotions and six desires. It also emphasizes the regulation of breathing, i.e. “adjusting the breath” and practicing breathing and exhalation.
It is recommended that we do more deep, long, slow and even breathing in general. You can practice the “Dantian breath”, after the nose inhaled, through the idea of sending the gas to the lower Dantian Qihai location, that is, 1.5 inches below the navel. Then exhale slowly. Practice “Dantian breath” at the same time, swallowing saliva, with the regulation of Jin, health effects better.
Tonic
The ancients promoted the use of tonic medicine to regulate yin and yang, internal organs, qi and blood. There are three principles: first, identification of evidence; second, food supplementation is the first; third, the combination of tonic and diarrhea.
In Chinese medicine, medicine and food have the same origin, and all foods have the effect of regulating the body. In terms of taste, sour tones are for the liver, bitter tones are for the heart, sweet tones are for the spleen, pungent tones are for the lungs, and salty tones are for the kidneys. In terms of color, red is for the heart, black is for the kidney, yellow is for the spleen, cyan is for the liver, and white is for the lung.
Consolidation
To consolidate the essence is to protect the kidney energy, the most important thing is to abstain from sex.
To consolidate the qi, one should reduce the consumption of qi and talk less; two, more sunshine to replenish the yang energy; three, more exercise to promote the circulation of qi and blood in the body; four, less staying up late; five, through diet to bring the qi of water and grain, drink more blood and qi nutritious porridge.
To consolidate the spirit, we must regulate the seven emotions, not “too happy, too angry, too thoughtful, too sad, too afraid”. Emotions are well controlled, the body will suffer less damage.
